Ever searched all around your house for your glasses, phone or tv remote only to find you were carrying it the whole time?
A lot of the time muscle tension can be a lot like that. You completely forget where you put it until you learn to relax that muscle. You may have seen people with hunched shoulders, or you may suffer from tight hamstrings or hips yourself.
This can cause more than just pain and poor posture further down the line. I mean think about it, if your muscles are tight then how is the blood going to flow where it needs to go to nurture your cells and take away waste products? The muscles can even impinge on nerves causing severe symptoms years later…
A huge part of my healing journey has been learning to get more into my body and out of my head. I have tried a lot of different therapies and practiced yoga for years but unless you get the right key for the right lock your results will be modest/
